Vibrant Philly

Welcome to Philadelphia! With a growing immigrant population and over 40 religions represented, this city is characterized by constant interreligious cooperation and conflict. During the course, students will interact with (among others) Muslim, Christian, Jewish, and Buddhist micro-communities while exploring themes of peacebuilding and immigration. Our primary partner for the course is the Philadelphia Praise Center, an Indonesian Mennonite community with strong interfaith ties.
