Poetry Warms Students up to Performance, Creativity

Snow dusts the campus sidewalks today as Goshen College students huddle inside their coats. The chilly 18° seems even colder after the 60° highs from earlier this week. Despite the unreliable weather of Northern Indiana, the English Department has already had many exciting events this semester.

Is The Word, the student-led poetry slam, continues to flourish.  Two English writing majors, Hayley Brooks, sophomore, and  Becca Kraybill, senior, organize an on-campus reading every two weeks.
