See Me CNC Demonstrates Latest 3D Printer Technology on Campus

3dOn Friday October 11, See Me CNC will demonstrate the ORION 3D Printer in Science 106 at 4 PM.

The Orion Printer has a 6″ diameter build surface with heated bed for ABS printing.

It can print 3D objects up to 8″  high. The printer has a 200mm per second top speeds and a 50 micron resolution.

It can create injection molded, CNC machined and laser cut parts. It uses the UltiMachine RAMBo board and has expansion capabilities on-board the RAMBo to add lights, automate build tables, run more stepper motors, whatever you can think of! Please share your hacks with all of us on our forum!
