Making Brownies for Mother's Day

Jalisa, Phil, and Logan joined forces to create brownies for their host mothers on International Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 30) — no trivial endeavor given that the only true measuring device we had was a teaspoon (no cup or tablespoon measures).  They did succeed in their efforts, both in terms of making multiple batches of brownies and in surprising (and pleasing) their host mothers.  We don’t have pictures of the results — they disappeared quickly enough — just the effort.
