Five GC students awarded Everence scholarships

Five Goshen College students have received scholarships from Everence, the financial services organization of Mennonite Church USA. This year, Everence awarded a total of 42 scholarships to college students, ranging from $750 to $2,000.

 

Denver Beck, a first-year undecided major from Archbold, Ohio, is a graduate of Archbold High School. Denver is the son of Kerry and MaryBeth Beck, of Woodstock, Vermont.

 


Cade Fisher, a first-year music and peace, justice and conflict studies major from Goshen, is a Goshen High School graduate and the child of Matt and Amy Fisher. They attend Silverwood Mennonite Church.

 


Janelle Preheim, a sophomore music major from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, is a graduate of Lancaster Mennonite School. She is the daughter of Arland and Dori Preheim and attends Blossom Hill Mennonite Church.


Anna Smucker, a first-year art and Bible and religion major from Goshen, is a graduate of Bethany Christian High School. She is the daughter of John and Beth Smucker and attends Waterford Mennonite Church.


Christian Stoltzfus, a senior interdisciplinary major from Harrisonburg, Virginia, is a graduate of Rift Valley Academy. He is the son of Rosemary Shenk and Bruce Buckwalter.
